Chest to chest like this, Illuga wonders if Flins can feel his heart hammering. He sure can feel his muted laughter, fond and tucked into his skin as it is. There's a little bite, not something that would break skin, and Illuga gasps.
“Roguish.” He repeats, his fingers tightening as Flins kisses the mark in unapologetic amusement.

“That is an unusual question for someone to ask, I must say,” Flins murmurs, seeming rather unfazed. “I hesitate to assume anything, of course, but may I ask if it comes from the curiosity of anyone in particular?”
He can feel Flins’ stare on his cheek. His own is resolutely focused on the booth. For Illuga, it’s hard not to worry the most about those who show the least signs of battle and fatigue. He’ll ask whatever questions necessary to remind him that he wants him safe - and he’s curious, too, he won’t deny that.
“A little bird was the one who asked, if you can believe it.”

Summary
Durin swallows. He really can't hide his expressions at all. It's fascinating, to compare it to his own. Blank, subtle, anything more human learnt and forced. Durin really is his masterpiece. "My knowledge has been requested regarding an incident in Wolvendom, which is just a short walk outside of the city itself."
When Durin doesn't seem entirely like he knows where it is, he smiles again. He's used to teaching Sucrose and Timaeus about alchemy, and Klee about some of the things that come with growing up... But Durin has to be taught about the world in the same way his master taught him. It's hard to forget how the knowledge of what consequences failure carried settled on his shoulders like lead. "You might remember passing through it from your meeting with Hat Guy."
Recognition lights up on Durin's face, makes his cheeks puff out with how wide his fanged smile is, and makes his sharp teeth glint threateningly in the light.
(Or: Two brothers get a report about a wolf attack, and the past has to be confronted by the future.)

Summary
It's been harder than he thought it would be, to figure out where to draw the line between Durin as his brother and as his creation. Harder still, to understand how to make him happy. At the very least, alchemy seems to be a shared hobby. He'd lit up when Albedo offered him a flower created by Khemia, fangs sticking out sharp between his lips as he smiled. Nodded along when he offered to teach him. Now, in the laboratory, his gaze is tearful, and his mouth a frown formed in the same shape as Rhinedottir's so often was.
(Or: A visit to Mondstadt's cathedral leads to violent actions down the line, and Albedo reaps the consequences of his own inaction.)

Summary
Cranes settle on the cliffs above them, white splotches against the sky's dark canvas, and the tree at Windrise towers in front of them. The knotted trunk stands thick and tall despite the years, mossy and strong no matter how many storms it has weathered. The canopy spreads so wide that, as they approach, it blots out the mountains behind it. In that ancient tree, several generations of beasts have lived and died, and at its roots, thousands of humans have gone to pray, weep, and love.
"That's the Symbol of Mondstadt's Hero," Durin says where he stands at Albedo's side, staring up at the tree with wide eyes. Hat Guy says nothing, but his silence speaks for itself. "I read about it in a book, and people say that Vennessa ascended to Celestia where it stands."
(Or: In the process of visiting a friend from afar, two brothers learn a little more about each other, the people of Mondstadt, and how to handle rumors.)

Summary
Matthias Czernin's life can be separated neatly into a series of befores and afters, which includes before Orpheus and his ilk took an interest in his family and after they helped worsen his life one puppet at a time. Their relationship is defined by an odd obsessive tendency on both sides, isolation from everyone around them, and genuinely just enjoying hanging out together. And also the fact that Matthias doesn't know Orpheus is responsible for repeatedly sending Louis back to him. That one's pretty important.
Less nicely put: Matthias is a very unreliable narrator, and Orpheus is very pleased with this fact.

Summary
Matthias Czernin's life can be separated neatly into a series of befores and afters, before France and after France, before Louis and after Louis, before the accident and after the accident, before the invitation and after the invitation. One fact remains true through all of it: if he tries hard enough, he can nearly fool himself and everyone else into thinking things are just fine. He's a born performer, after all, no matter how much he might wish otherwise.
Less nicely put: Matthias is a very unreliable narrator, and there's a solid 75% chance things are not going the way he thinks they are at any given time.
