Sometimes he told you what hellish nightmares obstructed his sleep or kept him up at night, other times he kept to himself. This time you wondered how panicked he seemed to be, if it was about you.
Zayne’s eyes flickered away for a split second before finding you again, that subtle movement of his confirming your suspicions.
“It’s nothing.” Zayne lied and yet as he lightly placed his hand on top of yours on his cheek, he turned his head to place a loving kiss on your palm then feathered his lips to your wrist, brushing his mouth over your quickened pulse like some sort of confirmation. “I didn’t mean to worry you like this.”
“Come here.” You tugged at his hand, pulling him further into the living room and he wordlessly followed behind you. You pulled him to the front of the coach, watched his expression become one of slight confusion before you ordered your boyfriend with a fond curl of your lips, “Sit down.”
Zayne always keeps his promises.
