Before Oscar had a chance to say you’re welcome Lando was pulling him into a hug. A real hug. With arms. And squeezing. And intention.
Oscar tensed before half heartedly patting Lando on the shoulder, not sure what else to do.
“Oscar, is this what you call a hug?”
“...yes?”
“God mate,” Lando pulled away, laughing. “You fucking suck at hugs”

or, five times lando comes into oscars room to ask for his help with something and then berate his hugging skills plus one time that oscar goes to lando and gives him a good hug and maybe plus one more time but its landos pov. so basically the title.

Oscar just goes. A step and he can reach for Lando, pulling him a hug. He’s gentle, afraid to hurt Lando but he needs that more than anything. The feeling of Lando’s body against him.
He sees the surprise in Lando's eyes just before the Brit lets his body lean against Oscar. It feels good. Just holding Lando like that. When Lando puts his hands around Oscar’s waist, he feels the void finally filling up.
