Hope blooms suddenly in her heart. Engaged -- that means marriage, and marriage means citizenship. The immigration lawyer had mentioned that before, but she's not even seeing anyone at the moment. Columbina tapped her chin very slowly. “Well, I'm the one wearing an apron and nametag while you aren't… If anything, I should be asking who you are.”
Sandrone has to force herself not to explode at this point. She's offended, she's confused, she's annoyed to hell and back. Whatever trick the universe was pulling on her at this very moment, she does not like it.
“Hah, as if you don't already know my name for some reason,” she snaps back. “You know what, I’m not going to waste my time dealing with you.”
Without caring for an answer, she immediately pushes past Columbina to go into the backroom to look for Lauma. If only she had turned back – even for a split second – before the curtain closed, then she would have seen the abrupt change in Columbina's expression.
Sandrone is broke, tired, hungry, and worst of all, an engineering student.
After her father gets hospitalized, she decides to get a part-time job at a flower shop to become less of a burden to him, but what she doesn't expect is the annoying and utterly incompetent coworker that she has to put up with.
