“Are you kidding me?”
“You know we’re dead serious, Tooru, now get in the chamber.”
“But I didn’t do it!”
“That’s what you said last time.”
“Yeah, well,” Tooru flounders. “I’m not lying this time.”
“Then I’m awfully sorry about this,” Kei says as he pushes Tooru into the chamber. The door closes with a resounding whoosh. Kei turns back to the large table in the middle of the room and Tooru can just barely hear him say, “Oh wait, no I’m not.”
That little punk.
The air vent shoots open and Tooru gets one last glare in before he’s consumed by the plunging darkness of space.
