Summary
Steve stood there barefoot in the dirt, shirt torn, dried blood smeared down his arms, bruises forming like blooming shadows along his jaw and throat. His pupils were blown wide, hands trembling, as if caught in the middle of an electric storm. “Jesus Christ, Harrington,” Hopper finally said, immediate concern etched across his face, just then Steve felt himself tumbling forward.
“Whoa—easy,” Hopper said, catching him by the arm just as a tremor had rippled its way through Steve's body “Kid, what the hell happened to you?”
