Hello!
Here's some useless information about me: Basically, I'm a 31-year-old introverted hippy-geeky nature-nerd who resides in a little house in Ohio, USA, with my dog, kitty, and 3 fat goldfish. My username stems (Stem! Get it? Grass stem?...I'll see myself out) from my favorite prairie grass, Little Bluestem (Schizachyrium scoparium). I work at a used bookstore where I'm surrounded by meme-spouting nerds, which is great. I have a Spockish attitude towards nature; I will gladly hold a handful of cranefly larvae while up to my knees in mud and think 'fascinating'. I form obsessions pretty easily and never let them go. Some might rotate to the back-burner for a while, but they all circle round again eventually. Here're some of my favorite things:

Birds (I'm a huge birder/ armchair ornithologist), native plant gardening, animals of all kinds, Star Wars 4-7, The Lord of the Rings, Harry Potters, DBZ (Frieza), Pokemon (Mewtwo), Bleach (Kenpachi), Legend of Zelda (Ganondorf), Soul Calibur (Voldo), Rick and Morty, Adventure Time, any BBC/David Attenborough nature documentary, writing, reading, sculpting, Poe Fucking Dameron, Cinnamon Roll Finn, and bunches o' other stuff I can't think of right now.
