The only sounds that could be heard in the quiet, well-lit apartment were the sounds of pen scratching paper and soft breathing. Normally, Nozaki would put on music to fill the silence as he and his assistants worked separately, or maybe Mikorin or Sakura would hold a conversation while they worked, Nozaki listening to them like his own personal podcast. But tonight, with just Nozaki and Sakura, there was no need to fill the silence.
Somehow, the silence between them felt like a conversation on its own.
