Ink stared at him as he tried to comprehend the words. Perseverance? Although it made sense, it only seemed to contribute to his rising alarm. How could he possibly thrive if perseverance was the most reliable aspect someone could have; an aspect he woefully lacked?
(My very own AU idea. I suck at titles. And creativity. Took me forever to finally come up with a title and I'm still unsure about it. I hope you enjoy the story anyway, despite all the problems. Also, I am a veeery slow writer, so please keep in mind updates will be slow. Most of the characters go to their respective owners.)

Summary
Dream is utterly exhausted to say the least. He works his metaphorical ass off every waking day of his miserable life just to be rewarded with Ink forgetting him in an extremely negative AU where he passes out to Nightmares mercy.
Once Nightmare throws Dream into a cell where the weakened guardian will possibly cross paths with death, will Nightmare finally give in to his conflicted emotions and hear his brother's side of the story that fateful night in Dreamtale?

Dream stared at the endless white and shuddered against how oppressive this place was.
His eye lights focused on the only thing here.
There was a skeleton on the ground with his hands over where his ears would be. Most of the skeleton had turned dark with glitches and the occasional error but part of his face and some of his left arm and torso was still white. He wore the typical Sans hoodie but with different colours and red glasses.
He was muttering to himself.
"Are you okay?"
A.k.a: What if Dream had met Error before he completely went crazy?

Summary
An Alternative Multiverse after years in a lost broken universe called DreamTale, who’s only inhabitant is a stone skeleton child named Dream. Who’s been trapped in stone, cursed, and abandoned by his brother Nightmare.
Instead of Ink finding Dream it's Error who finds him first—a child who’s whole world is morphed and twisted to the point it's unrecognizable, who’s lost everything. Dream has nothing, and Error is the only one he has now. Meanwhile Error has no idea at all how to raise a child (not that he can recall) who has just about as many issues as his own, and now he is...this childs...new owner? Roommate? Provider? Guardian?? Foster parent??? Father???? Stepfather?????
"YeAh, nO."
