On a crisp winter afternoon with the sun in the sky and the air ruffling his feathers, Hawks’ face feels like it’s on fire.
He stares up at Endeavor, his number one hero, in wide-eyed confusion, mouth ajar with shock.
“Wait… what?” he manages to say, barely noticing the moment Burnin’ awkwardly slips out the roof access door to escape the impending conversation. He sort of wishes he could follow, but Enji is blocking the path and while it wouldn’t be the first time he’s leapt off a roof to evade an uncomfortable conversation, he can’t bring himself to do it with Enji.
