“Yes and no,” Lucy grimaced.
“Your name is Lucy,” Gray frowned as he tried to make sense of what he was hearing.
“Legally, it’s Lucky. Lucy is my nickname,” Lucy answered with a shrug. “Lucky ‘Lucy’ Heartfilia.”

Headcanon: Lucy's real name is Lucky and Lucy is just her nickname.
Now combine that headcanon with Natsu finding out that he never knew Lucy's real name and you have this fic.

Summary
Albedo exceeded his own excellence when it came to anything remotely related to Alchemy. He was Chief Alchemist, Captain of the Investigation Team and had a natural ability in combat and drawing. They called him a genius.
But in hindsight, he wouldn't call himself a genius when it came to the growing romantic feelings towards his assistant. Especially when those feelings turned into something quite... alluring.
