This rewrite keeps the core heart of Overwatch, but expands it into a darker, more grounded, more emotionally layered story about heroism and its cost: about sacrifice, regret, duty, love, vengeance, and the dangerous roads built by good intentions. Told through multiple POV-driven plotlines that gradually converge, it asks not just whether the world still needs heroes, but what kind of people survive trying to become them.
