Summary
Steve examined the girl, his eyes catching on the bloodied knee and elbow and bruised cheek. Steve sighed and shook his head.
“Apparently not.” The girl only hummed in agreement.
“I’m Eileen, but I honestly hate that name.” Eileen introduced herself.
“I’m Steve.” Steve responded.
She smiled at him and Steve felt the need to smile back. She had a contagious smile. “Nice to meet you, Steve.”
