    Fic 4 (1x13): Pete and Vegas cope the only way they know how.
    Fic 5 (1x14): After the final scene, an ending filled with insecurity, comfort, love, and sex (because it’s Vegas and Pete).

    “You love being in control.”

    And that…that was true—but “I trust you,” Vegas said hurriedly, “and I want—need—you to—” he broke off, unsure how to put his motivation into words. He pursed his lips, looking away in frustration, only for Pete to bring a hand up to his cheek and turn him right back.

    “I trust you. I don’t need you to give up control just to ‘make up’ for the past. Or whatever it is you’re trying to prove,” he said, eyes and voice soft. “But thank you; I appreciate it,” he finished, leaning in and capturing Vegas’ lips in an unbelievably soft kiss, the touch featherlight.
