“Brand new season, brand new dawn for Formula 1. It’s the Bahrain Grand Prix!”
The five red lights count down before her. She closes her eyes briefly, feeling adrenaline surge through her body. She opens her eyes.
“And it’s lights out and away we go.”
The rush of twenty cars speeding down towards Turn 1 fills her ears. Violet grips the steering wheel tighter, keeping her Red Bull steady as she slots into position behind Caitlyn. *Not a bad start.* Through her visor, she catches a glimpse of a Ferrari attempting a bold move on the outside.
“Alright Vi, we’ve got nothing to lose and everything to prove.” Vander says over the radio.
She takes a deep breath, focusing on the track ahead. The familiar weight of the RB20 beneath her feels like an extension of herself. "Copy that," she responds, her eyes set on the car in pole position, Kiramman #1.

Vi’s smile was one of amusement, mischief and something else lingering at the bottom of it all, something she couldn’t quite name.“Guess we’ll find out soon enough.” she replied, a competitive fire sparking underneath.
For a moment, the room felt smaller, as if the two of them were the only ones in it. Beneath the smug remarks, a crackling tension that neither seemed to be entirely aware of was starting. It added an extra layer to every word, every glance.
The moderator stepped in to guide the session to the next question, but the energy between the two remained electric. Everyone watching, whether in the room or on the live broadcast, could feel it. This wasn’t just some petty rivalry. It was something else entirely.
Or F1 prodigy Caitlyn Kiramman’s reign is threatened by a certain fiery redhead speeding her way into history (consequently falling for her).
