Summary
William hates that Dolkness girl, but he's not stupid. He shares sword training class with her, so he keeps seeing her throw Ashbatten around. More importantly, he sees her putting in honest to goddess effort, and that makes no sense to him.
Basically William respects hard work and warms up enough to Yumi to start talking to her.
