Summary
On your way home from DragonCon, you are involved in a car crash. Waking up, you find yourself transported to another time in another galaxy far, far away. Still dressed in your Jedi Knight cosplay, you are taken before the Jedi Council who all assume you’re either a Jedi, or the Sith Lord they’ve been searching for.

Inspired by a brilliant reader-insert fic — More Than Empty Servitude — I decided to try writing my own reader-insert. But I wondered what would happen if the reader was a Star Wars nerd who had been trying her whole life to be a Jedi and she actually was Force sensitive? How would the Jedi Council reconcile the existence of a Force-sensitive who appears to know all the Jedi Lore and teachings but isn’t in any of their records? How would their lives be changed by that?

Summary
Post-Avengers AU. Loki has been given the throne of Asgard after Odin's death by Thor, who has chosen not to be king. Loki, though full of hatred and rage from the deaths of his wife and sons, proves himself a worthy ruler and is soon informed that royal decree dictates he must take another wife and sire heirs to the kingdom. Enraged that a replacement for his beloved Sigyn is forced on him, he treats his new wife with unfettered cruelty and withholds his affection - but despite his best efforts, even Loki's bitter stone heart may not be immune to the healing power of passion.
(Yes, I know...this sounds corny as hell. But this story is dark, and violent, and cruel. No fluffy Loki to be found, only a bitter bastard who hates everyone nearly as much as he hates himself. Will love fix our boy?)
