Sanji sees him in his dreams. A man, standing bare chested waist deep in the ocean. He looks away from Sanji. His back is etched with a black tattoo, multiple swirling dark tentacles that travel up his torso and encircle his neck.
Most of the time, Sanji just watches him, seemingly for hours. Though the man doesn’t move, the lines on his back appear to slither and undulate, waving or clutching tighter at the man’s throat.

Law’s chin hooks over his shoulder, and his left arm comes to rest on Luffy’s lower back, while his right one undoubtedly still holds the joint.
They’re cuddling, like they often do once the weed hits their senses. Luffy loves it, but at the same time he feels conflicted. He knows Law is only this crazy affectionate when high.
It doesn’t mean anything, really.
Luffy could probably be anyone right now and it wouldn’t matter a damn to Law.
