Summary
Alexandria Shepard is paired up with decorated Council Agent Nihlus Kryik to head the mission of finding a way to prepare for the Reaper’s impending arrival shortly after becoming a Spectre herself. The two Spectres soon fall in love and become engaged, though it doesn’t last long. Alex finds it hard to move on, but it becomes much easier when she takes on training C-Sec officer Garrus Vakarian, to become a Spectre. Their blossoming and close friendship creates jealousy within Nihlus who then tries to win her back. She is immersed into an angsty love triangle that creates a tug-of-war with her heart.

She gives a shake of her head. What the hell is she doing? She’s supposed to be on a job. This turian should already be dead. Tch. Good thing he’s still sleeping. That means she still has some time.
She rolls the other way and reaches to the floor. Feels around for the knife she brings along specifically for turian targets. She briefly panics when she can’t seem to find it, but then her fingers brush the serrated edges. She sits up a bit more when—
“Leaving so soon?” She freezes at the sound of his gravelly voice, followed by the feel of his arm wrapping around her waist. “I don’t think you’re done yet,” he goes on. He gently tugs her so that she falls onto her back, and he positions himself above her. She’s met with those piercing blue eyes and some treacherous part of her thinks she wants to drown in them. “Am I right?” he then asks.

Summary
Shepard wakes up with the worst hangover in the world, but that isn't the worst thing she'll have to deal with. Everybody else seems to remember more about the night than she does, and with a little sleuthing she realises she kissed Garrus when she was drunk. Now he's avoiding her, and everybody else seems to have an opinion on her love life. Shepard needs to do some damage control, and fast, before she loses her friendship with Garrus, and murders half her crew.
