Before the world ended, Giselle was a full-time stripper, part-time hooker, occasional thief, frequent drug user, and the owner of several unresolved issues surrounding food.
This was easier to manage before the apocalypse.
Now her supply is running out, her family is MIA, her dreams have started talking back, and her hunger is becoming something she would rather not examine.
Shane, meanwhile, has shot a man and left him to be eaten alive, alienated nearly everyone he cares about, and decided the apocalypse makes more sense than civilization ever did.
Giselle finds this distressingly attractive.
The feeling is mutual.
Things get worse from there.
