"Hey!" The sudden shout that sounded like a kid reverberated through his ears. Luffy immediately perked his head up, and the shadow of a child loomed in the doorway.
"H-huh..?" Luffy groaned.Or:

Summary
Mike pulls him toward his chest and this time, Will lets himself be held again.
“You’re okay.”
Will closes his eyes, the comfort of his best friend overtaking him in rapid succession, he feels himself drifting off, Mike’s words of reassurance gently whisking him off to sleep.
“I’ve got you,” he hears, almost unconscious when the faint words barely register-
“I’ve got you, baby.”
Or,
Mike has started calling Will ‘baby’ and it’s driving him crazy.
