Summary
Kokushibo had been very selective about the times he had been leaving the castle. Had been hesitant to leave Yoriichi unattended for a long period of time other than leaving for supplies and other necessities throughout the entire duration that he has been here. It was obvious why the Upper-Moon had been reluctant to leave the child here. The Infinity Castle was a sort-of home for many demons. But not even he could ignore his duties forever.
Continuation of "My Otōto" with a focus on Upper-Moon Two. Can be read as a stand-alone.

"You are here because... I wanted you to be," He settled on saying after a long, loaded pause. It wasn't a lie, after all. His voice was surprisingly quiet, words coming across softer than he had intended.
"...Because you are alone?"
