Gojo was just in the middle of responding to something when he heard a voice from behind him, it was deep and velvety with a light musical tone to it, “Okay children, put your shoes on and head on outside.”
His entire body stiffened.
He gripped his phone with enough pressure that he felt it would break, and pressed his back into the side of the building, hiding instinctively.
Why was he here?
Finally Gojo’s eyes found their target: there he was, squatting in front of a crying child, comforting them. He looked bigger than before– of course he did, it’d been over 7 years. He wore his long black hair loose now, with a simple knot holding a few strands back. Gojo’s eyes ate up the sight of the man he hadn’t seen in years.

Look. Chuuya was well, well aware that life loved to throw curveballs. He’d dealt with more than he could count on all his fingers and toes in the last decade alone. He’d become comfortable with them, to some extent, felt he was good at handling them.
Until he was propositioned by his high school ex and said ex’s current husband.
Of course Dazai would have it in him to be able to catch Chuuya properly off guard after all these years. And of course Kunikida would be so easy to fall for. Of course, the second you think you’ve found your footing, something sweeps it out from under you.
Or; Now that everyone's feelings are out in the open, Chuuya, Dazai, and Kunikida are ready to start building their new relationship. The first month or so of that has plenty of ups, like their first group date and their Christmas eve gift exchange, and several downs, like a disastrous work Christmas party and the way certain acquaintances react to the development. A lot of changes means a lot of work, but, despite the stumbling blocks, the three of them are willing to put in that effort.
