Summary
Boredom, a state of mind that pushes one to do things they never intended to in order to fill the missing gaps and reshape their soul. Osamu Dazai is no stranger to that feeling. He’s spent most of his life hiding behind a mask his own mother forged for him, before getting assasinated, hoping to keep her son away from the claws of his father and the Port Mafia’s wicked ways of using him.
It’s only when he encounters a certain redhead that Dazai chases to embrace a new aspect of life. Yet, when one experiences sweetness after a life of bitterness, it becomes an insatiable craving, a taste one cannot resist unless they’ve savored every last drop.
Revenge, on the other hand, compels individuals to execute planned action. Chuuya Nakahara has been subject to this desire since the explosion caused by the Port Mafia in Suribachi. He dedicated half of his existence trying to fulfill the oath he had made; offering the mafia boss’ head to the graves destined to gather dust.
However, his plans come to a halt when he finds himself crawling to escape the uninvited attraction that suffocates him, drawing him towards his sworn enemy.
