Summary
Lelouch has a lot to deal with as secretly Zero, leader of the Black Knights, and also doubly so secretly Lelouch vi Britannia, Britannian Royalty in exile.
The complication that is Lancelot, a strange monster born of flesh and metal—a Knightmare turned into a Nightmare—just adds on to it. But really, outside of that strange being and his particular interest in him, there is something else he has to worry about.
Kururugi Suzaku is his childhood friend and, as it turns out, the pilot of the Z-01 Lancelot previously and now set to be piloting the Z-01' Lancelot Enhanced once it is completed. He's not meant to be his enemy, but the ally he can trust with Nunnally's safety.
So, for the sake of that, for the sake of taking Suzaku out of a dangerous system that will have him dead soon, Lelouch decides to bite into the bait given...knowing he has more surprises than Britannia can counter with the aid of the monster called Lancelot...
...or so is the plan.

Summary
Lelouch likes the rain. It’s clean and cold, like snow, but its lifespan is never quite as extensive. The sound of it hitting the roof provides a soothing white noise that helps him think and keeps him grounded. Most of all, when it rains, few students make an effort to leave their dorms, which gives him free range over Ashford’s campus uninterrupted. That’s what he says about the rain to Suzaku as they sit in the library, at least.
(or — an innocent study date takes a turn for the best.)
