We lay on his bed in the quiet darkness. Our bodies tightly embraced and as close to each other as it was possible to be. With every sip he took from me, my arousal grew and my trembling intensified. Memories of our first night together after the party with the Tieflings swirled in my head. The feel of his skin under my fingers, his hungry kisses. His hands, so indescribably talented. All the sweet words that hit me right in the heart. Almost desperately, I wound my fingers in his hair, only wanting to feel him even closer to me.
Astarion pulled away from me far too quickly and looked down at me, breathing heavily. A small trickle of my blood ran down his chin. It was such a harsh contrast on his almost white skin that it seemed to glow even in the darkness. His gaze was grave, almost angry, which put a bitter damper on my lust. Had I done something wrong? When he stood up in one swift movement, I sat up too.

“How old are you, Astarion?”
Astarion is not expecting the question, Halsin can tell by the way he jerks upright, spine straight, shoulders strong.
“Two-hundred-and-forty,” he answers without hesitation. “Give or take a few years.”
Halsin swallows, rewords his question. “How old were you when you were turned?”
Astarion goes quiet. Extremely, cacophonously quiet.
“Thirty-nine,” he finally says, a bolt straight into Halsin’s heart.

“I’m going for a walk.” Astarion said. Tav and Shadowheart simply nodded at the news.
“Perhaps I’ll even manage to hunt down a bear.” He stood up and stretched. The campfire kept them all warm, but the improvised seating they kept around it lacked comfort.
“Careful, not all bears are friendly when provoked.” Halsin chuckled. “I’d rather like to see you return in one piece.”
With a last sly smile, the vampire disappeared into the night. Soon Shadowheart and Halsin excused themselves, retreating to their tents, and Tav was left to her thoughts, poking at the fire.“Tav.” Came from inside her mind. She shook her head, and looked around, before realising Astarion’s voice came from within her mind. “Are you up for a little show?” He continued.
“Show?” She asked him, as she added some more wood to the fire. Then an image hit her.
