    Bookmarker's Notes

    Ridiculously funny-- but more than that, cute and innocent in the way a story about first love should be. The sheer amount of effort put in by both characters towards building the relationship, despite things not always coming naturally, is both painfully awkward and deeply heartwarming, and I think it forms the core of what's so special about this story. Pay special attention to the way the narrative is crafted to fit the POV of the main character (ie. word choice, punctuation, metaphors, etc.).
