Summary
For the third time in a week Charlie has found a love note in his locker, at first, he thought it was a mistake, maybe someone had accidentally put their note down his locker thinking it was somebody else’s. When he got the second note, his name was neatly written on it, so the possibility of it being a mistake was out of the question. Now, with the third one, he starts to feel his heart fluttering and his eyes glazing over, he’d never received a love note before this week and he’d already gotten three, he just whished he knew who sent them.

I blame this on my incessant rewatching of Heartstopper and a late night rewatch of Enchanted.
Nick has a heart of gold, the patience of a saint and the brain of a…very smart bird. Ever the dreamer he’s betrothed to Princess Tara of Goldenleaf after she saves him and his bakery from a fire, but a twist of fate lands him in a cold, dark place and a battered heart to mend, only its not his.Charlie has been living an empty life, he chose a career path he doesn’t like, lives in place that doesn’t feel his and dates a man he knows he doesn’t really love, his only constant, personal miracle is his dog Nellie, but what happens when she runs out of the car on a rainy night and brings a tall stranger back home?
This is my first fic of this pairing and the first time I post anything in a LONG time (almost 15 years!) so please be kind.

Summary
The worst part of traveling on a student budget, other than surviving on ramen noodles and haggling with locals, is the bed situation. Somehow, no matter how hard they try, they can never find a place with enough beds for everyone to have their own. At least this time they get their own room. Nick and Charlie have been friends for so long, it just makes logical sense for them to share. It's really no problem. Well, there's one problem—every time that Nick spends the night with Charlie tucked into bed next to him, Nick just ends up achingly hard, squirming under the covers instead of actually getting any sleep.
