    Valyrian gods did not offer Aerys a living daughter, so the firstborn of Steffon Baratheon was undoubtedly considered as Prince Rhaegar's prospective bride. Roslyn was brought to Red Keep to be Queen Rhaella's ward, growing up with her cousin.

    She thrived in the court and befriended with the dour, melancholic prince. Fearless, exuberant, and gregarious...she was everything he wasn't. So it surprised no one when he finally fell in love with her. Unfortunately, he was not the only one.

    Sixteen years ago, Rhaegar Targaryen defeated Robert Baratheon in a duel amidst the swirling rivers of the Trident. After revealing the truth to Eddard Stark, the rebellion ended in peace, and Rhaegar travelled to King's Landing, only to discover that his father had murdered his wife Elia Martell, and his elder two children were next. Though he died before he could issue that order, the revelations of the events at the Tower of Joy caused great anger to House Martell. A secret annulment that was set aside; a first marriage to Lyanna that was declared illegal; a second one days before she went into labor, bleeding on her birthing bed, but still managing to deliver... her children.

    Daenerys and Jonothor Targaryen, twin children of Rhaegar and Lyanna, have been raised for sixteen years as the Princess and Prince they are, but not all is well in their family. The murder of Elia has not been forgotten; nor have their father and mother's actions, and even amongst the children of Rhaegar, factions form, for Elia's children never forget who their father abandoned their mother for... and dark intents form for their little sister.
