A spoiler-heavy Armored Core 6 story that tries to delve into possibilities in the regular game that've bored through my brain repeatedly the past few days.
The only thing that's probably straying from the normal in Armored Core is the story I want to tell and the personalization of 621, otherwise I'll try and keep things as they were in the game, do expect some dialogue or situational changes as I continue on just to try and make things fit together better. Summary
Love always seems so far away in the mystical Lands Between. It seems especially distant when you're a lowly, maidenless tarnished striving toward the Elden Throne. Coincidentally, it also seems distant when you're the spirit of a long-dead infamous assassin. I've read a thousand of these kinds of stories, and none of them have been finished. They all cut off somewhere early on, in the first or second book. I got tired of that, so here you are. It's gonna take a while, but eventually, I'm gonna finish every book from The Lightning Thief through Blood Of Olympus, I promise. This is gonna be my favorite work by far, so let's get into it!

Summary
Welcome to Interregnum! This represents our attempt to write a Zahn-style continuation of his original trilogy, borrowing from material from the X-wing novels and comics (as well as the broader Legends continuity) to help flesh out plots. The main point of divergence from the original Legends chronology is Dark Empire: in this story, Palpatine was never cloned and died permanently in Return of the Jedi.
