After the murders of her mother, stepfather, half-sisters, and unborn half-sibling (though she's unaware of the 'half' and 'step' parts), by Death Eaters when Annabeth Smith was only three years old, Annabeth is taken to her stepfather's sister, Roxanne "Roxy" Smith's, house to live. There Annabeth is raised by her step-aunt until she can be reunited with her godparents, Arthur and Molly Weasley, and their children at the end of the Wizarding War in Europe.
Then, when Annabeth turns eleven, she along with two of her godparents' sons, Fred and George Weasley, begin their studies at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, bringing with them pranks and gags a plenty.
Two years later, to everyone at Hogwarts' surprise, the infamous Harry Potter, the Boy Who Lived, arrives at Hogwarts for his First Year. His presence triggers ancient magic in Annabeth and because of it her life will never be the same again.
