    Something was wrong here.

    The closer they got to the barracks the more Guards they saw, and the more they saw in various states of not okay. There was a pair where one Corrie was held up by their partner and only managing one step out of every five. There was a trio that kept one squished between the other two, shaking like a leaf the entire time. A group of five staggering more than a single solider too deep in their cups. A singular Corrie walking a death walk as if going any faster would end the world.

    The Coruscant Guard posting is not the cushy posting the GAR thinks it is. It's hell and they'll do anything to keep that from their vode. But Serendipity doesn't give a kark about what the Guard wants. Fox' batch is about to find out exactly just what is going on in the Guard and they're going to do something about it.
