Lucy narrows her eyes, and takes a step towards him, which is hard enough to do in such a cramped space. “And so what if I was, Tim?” She takes another step forward. “You’re not my boyfriend anymore.” She takes one more step, and now their chests are touching and there’s no way she can’t feel the way Tim’s heart is pounding.”So what if I was going home with O’Brien?” She raises her chin defiantly, lips a hair away from his, and Tim can smell the champagne on her own breath as she drops her voice down to a whisper.
