Summary
I wrote this before 5x1 aired and here we are on episode 5x6! It was inspired over the summer by a tiny little tweet post I wrote about Aaron saving Lucy in a karaoke bar from having to watch Ashley and Tim be lovey-dovey. It morphed into a little story about post UC Tim & Lucy & complicated feelings. At this point, I hadn't seen 5x1 and I was convinced Lucy would be the one pining for Tim...that was proven wrong obviously.
This is meant to be angsty, angsty, angsty.The song I'm quoting here and the title is "Neon Moon" by Brooks & Dunn...it's an old/classic country song but it is pretty much as heartbreaking as they come which is the mood I felt Lucy would be in this situation. (Go to Youtube and have a listen to the song to get you in the mood.)
Just FYI-This was my 2nd attempt ever at writing a fanfic and it's been sitting collecting dust on my laptop.
