The following is a compilation of emails sent between former B.S.A.A. agent and S.T.A.R.S. member Jill Valentine and former TerraSave member Claire Redfield, from 2009 to 2014.
These letters are a window to their minds and hearts, attesting to the horrors they lived at the hands of the Umbrella Corporation. But it's also a testimony to their bond, and a lesson for us all. From even in the darkest of places, love can find a way to bloom. This is their story, as told by them.
This compilation is dedicated to my grandma, Sherry Birkin, who’s life was saved by Claire Redfield.

Someone as passionless as her, with such empty eyes, who doesn’t even have enough pride in her skills that she’d hide it at someone else’s say so, surely someone like that doesn’t deserve her interest? Eren may be formless and lacks discipline, but in his eyes burns an uncontrollable passion. Like he’s bigger than his own body. That’s what’s attractive about him. Compared to him, Mikasa just pisses her off. She can’t place a finger on why. Mikasa just does.

this is ABSOLUTELY the best Mikannie fanfic i have ever read!!
Fresh and brave reinterpretation of the main characters, without being unfaithful to their canon characterization.
Wildly different setting (modern au with no titans).
Mature and problematic plot points that are dealt with absolute respect and seriousness.
A lot of hot scenes that NOT ONLY are presented for fan services, but are importan plot points for the development of characters and story.
Just my favorite mikannie fic.

Summary
Four years have passed since reclaiming Wall Maria and defeating the titans there. Life within the walls have returned to normal, more or less, and the scouting regiment continues their fight against the titans outside the walls. Mikasa however has taken it upon herself to be in charge of keeping an eye on Annie, still frozen in crystal. Femslash MikaAni. Slow build and eventual smut. This is my first fanfic for this anime/pairing, and first fic in years, sorry if it sucks. Originally posted on FF.net, testing the waters here.
