Gordon was rather happy with his life, as it stood. He had his son, and he had his job, and there was nothing else that he wanted out of life. But when he is introduced to a new fireman, all of that starts to change. His new fireman, Henry Stainer, is quiet and soft spoken, the opposite of everything that Gordon is.
The flame in his heart brings to light long hidden secrets from both sides of the fence, and proves that you can never truly run from your past.

Just a silly idea that popped into my head. Don't ask. A spider has made itself at home inside Tidmouth Sheds. A very big hairy spider at that. All of the engines, including and especially those who don't want to admit it, are spooked by it and want it gone. Well, all of them, except for one.
And that one engine who isn't spooked by the spider is - of all engines - Henry.
