He stopped short, hand frozen in the air from where he had begun to point. Slowly, he turned back to face the man, who simply stood there with a completely sober expression, starfish encyclopedia still in hand.

Kakyoin Noriaki is a librarian, simple as that. He cherishes his job, as it doesn't require him to have high levels of social skills or energy. Usually it's just him and the books. Well, and Avdol's there, of course. And so is Polnareff, but they're his friends, that's fine. On any given day, his job usually doesn't get much more exciting than chasing Polnareff out at the end of the day. Yes sir, a less-social job for a less-social person, that was Kakyoin Noriaki's life. Or at least it was, until a strange man with a white coat and a hair hat came in and asked him where to find the murder books. Who is this strange hair-hat man? Why does he need to know where to find the 'murder books'? And why does Kakyoin keep thinking about him?
