Or: What if Payu didn’t remember meeting and helping Rain with his tire that first time? They still get together, but Rain never tells Payu they met before the restaurant.
When Rain and Payu go to lunch with Sky, what if Sky happens to mention Rain’s massive crush on his handsome rescuer…and Payu doesn’t know it was him?

“You’re too close,” Sky hissed between his teeth, a bass-heavy pop song playing in the background. God, the music choices here left a lot to be desired.
“Sorry,” said Prapai, not sounding sorry at all. He pulled an ear-to-ear grin, a fifty-fifty mixture of cheeky and goofy, a strange combination that somehow worked for him. It was the sort of infectious grin that prompted its recipient to return it, but Sky was smarter than that. He simply turned his face away, not even bothering to acknowledge it.
Maybe if he ignored him, he’d go away.
