Summary
Midoriya Izuku was never one to be ashamed of his clothing tastes, he wore skirts from a young age, expressing to his mother that they felt light and airy. Kacchan had never talked down to him for his taste in attire, going as far as to defend him when some 'extra' made fun of the greenette.
When Izuku had gotten into U.A he didn't really wear skirts anymore, at least not to school. When the dorms were implemented he didn't think anything of wearing skirts like he usually did, until his boyfriends nose started gushing blood and Ochako screamed.Series

“Have you ever been on a date?”
“Oh, that’s easy,” Shouto replies. “No, never.”
Yaoyorozu, Hagakure, Shouji, Kirishima, and Tokoyami all react very strangely to his answer. Tokoyami cocks his head while Dark Shadow screeches indignantly, Shouji drops his drink, Hagakure shrieks like a banshee, Yaoyorozu actually swears, and Kirishima goes pale. They trade glances — at least, he assumes Hagakure does since the other four who reacted are all doing it, though he can’t see her to know for sure — before Kirishima clears his throat, chuckling nervously.
“Uh, yes you have,” he says. Shouto frowns.
“I certainly haven’t.”
Or; the one where Shouto would never date anyone but Izuku, but ends up doing it anyway accidentally. Thank God for Ochako to guide him through, well, pretty much everything involving other human beings.

Summary
Izuku had a soulmark before. Explosions across his collarbone, bright and loud, a neon sign that screamed for all the world to hear exactly who his soulmate was.
It disappears in his final year of middle school. Izuku asks the universe to take it away after his last straw is taken in Kacchan’s hands and snapped in half, and he isn’t granted a second one. Not that he minds all that much- no, no one is better than Kacchan was, and Izuku thinks he can settle for finding love one day without the help of some fancy mark on his skin.
Hitoshi never had a soulmark before. He grew up without one and got bullied for it. After all, he was the villain kid, so despicable with such an evil quirk that even the universe agreed he wasn’t worthy of love. He grew to accept it slowly, eventually coming to terms with the fact that he’d have to find someone on his own even if the odds were stacked against him.
Both of them are surprised one night to see a splotch of color on their hands, a thin matching thread that begins to grow as the days go by.
Thankfully, neither are disappointed.
