In a daze, Furina stepped forward, leaning down to check on the unconscious man’s pulse, but just as her slender fingers reached his throat, a thin hand with black-painted nails slapped her own hand away and took a firm hold under the man’s arms.
“Hey hey, everyone!!! Do you know anyone as dead as this man right here?” Furina shook her head in bewilderment as she saw a young woman with bright orange eyes holding up the slumped body of the man. The woman was around her height, with brown twintails tinged with red. She wore a radiant smile, cheeks dimpling as she lightly swung him around, eliciting a pained groan from him.Furina thought she was so cute.
