An heir and a spare. That was the phrase Regulus Black had spent the first eleven years of his life hearing. He'd hoped that things would be different when he got to Hogwarts, he could finally make his parents proud. But when he's sorted into Ravenclaw on his very first day, all of those plans go out the window. Regulus from there must navigate the ever-complicated relationship with his brother, his friends, and his own self worth. Trying to follow the will of his parents and eventually trying to discover what- and perhaps who- it is his heart really desires.
