Aaron needs to practice but the medical simulation mannequins are handled so often without replacement that they are useless for certain things.
He doesn't NEED to do it, he could just be content with watching the medical videos and read his textbooks like everyone else, but Aaron is a practical guy, if he does something once, he is less likely to mess it up later on.
So when Neil gladly volunteers to help, Aaron tries not to look a gift horse in the mouth.
