Summary
It’s been years since the deal was struck and Ciel never expected to still be alive at nineteen. While he struggles with the problems adulthood brings, he receives a new mission from the Queen.
Young women born into nobility are going missing and her majesty sends Ciel to investigate. With his faithful butler at his side, he takes on a mystery that turns out more complex than Ciel could have ever predicted. Though while working on this case, Ciel’s life slowly begins to crumble. The engagement with Lizzy faces problems, his guilt threatens to catch up and Sebastian is behaving… weird.
Or:
Ciel and Sebastian are on a new case that forces them to face some realisations about themselves.
This is based solely on the manga canon, set between the Emerald Witch and the Blue Cult Arc.
