  Kirby and Meta are two young Starchildren whose very different paths have led them to a pirate brig. Their paths have also led them to the impossible paradise-world of Popstar. One is perfectly content to be a child, and one is perfectly content to be a warrior. But in truth, both are children, and both are warriors.
