Summary
Xiao has always been a very sickly kid. Zhongli has tried many doctors and they all say the same thing “I’m sorry there’s nothing we can do”. But one night Xiao gets extremely sick, to the point he is unconscious. Zhongli rushes to find help and his savior is the distinguished Dr.Baizhu. Zhongli can’t thank him enough for his help and does everything in his power to pay him back. Zhongli and Baizhu eventually get closer and their relationship becomes more than doctor and patients father.

Changsheng regards him with his own cool magenta eyes. Baizhu’s always wondered if the difficulty he has lying to her is due to those eyes, or just her uniquely abrasive charm. In the private cocoon of his hands, with only Changsheng to hear, Baizhu says, “To marry is to make a widower of Gui.”

Summary
The boy named Zandik likes a few things- machinery, knowledge, lies, and Baizhu.
Machines can be repaired, knowledge passed down, lies maintained, but Baizhu is dying, irrevocably and irreversibly, the same way a candle flickers and sputters in damp air before gasping away into darkness.
He lives, he dies. He lives, he dies.
Zandik plucks the petals from a wilting lily and wonders, hazily, how much death he would be willing to barter for Baizhu's life.
(The answer would make Celestia scream.)
OR: Dottore sends a younger segment back to the Akademiya. Zandik meets a boy named Baizhu, and is reminded that despite his best efforts, he is not incapable of caring.

Summary
Baizhu has lost everyone he holds dear.
His parents died of the plague that swept their little village.
His master died because of the contract he signed with Changsheng.
A dear friend died of reckless decisions in the name of medicine.The pain and trauma of losing his loved ones have made him distance himself from others. All he needs is Changsheng, no one else. That was until a young man name Gui came into his life. Intrigued by the kind-hearted young man, he decides to take him in as his apprentice, upon Gui's persistence and Changsheng's insistence. He never knew taking Gui as an apprentice would improve his life.
A story focused on the lives of Baizhu, Changsheng, Gui and Qiqi (Bubu Pharmacy Family).
