They shifted beneath the shade of the parasol, lying down together in a tangled heap of limbs. Hongjoong pulled Seonghwa close, tucking him against his chest as the ocean breeze cooled their skin.
Seonghwa let out a content sigh, his eyes fluttering shut. He traced slow, lazy circles over Hongjoong’s arm, feeling the steady rise and fall of his breathing.
“I love you,” he whispered, the words slipping out effortlessly.
Hongjoong hummed in response, pressing a soft kiss to Seonghwa’s forehead. “I love you more, my star.”
The waves continued their endless rhythm, a gentle lullaby as they drifted off to sleep in each other’s arms.
