Castiel hadn't expected much from the summer, but soon after a trip to the library and meeting a girl named Charlie his entire outlook on life changes. He never expected or even wanted to make friends while he was in the small city of Lawrence. He would only have to leave them in the end. When he met Dean Winchester though, he quickly figured out that he would have more than just friends. He'd have family and a lover, and all in all an unforgettable summer.
