Summary
The twin commanders, John and Jane, were the pride of the Alliance, the first human spectres, and saviors of the Citadel. Until the Normandy is attacked by an unknown and far superior enemy. Commander John Shepard’s sacrificed ensured the safety of his crew.
John’s twin, disillusioned in the loss of her brother, forsakes her alliance duty to continue what the Citadel refuses: Face the Reaper threat. Cerberus’ resurrection of her brother was just the final selling point.
Now they must unite the galaxy to prepare for a threat that endangers all sentient life, or die trying. In order to do so, they first need to understand what it is they are up against.
