Summary
“Don’t marry him,” Suga tells you.
Your blood runs cold in your veins at his words, your breath catches in your throat.
He sees your reaction and stuffs his hands into his pockets, turning his head down. His teeth catch at his lower lip anxiously, teasing the flesh between them as he scuffs the bottom of his shoe along the ground. He’s looking at anything other than you, and the quiet shuffling is all that you hear while you try to figure out what the hell he means by that.
He catches sight of the ring on your finger, the one that you’d been trying to hide behind the baggy sleeves of your sweater all night, and lifts his head once more.
“If you want to pay me back, don’t marry him.” He says again, firmer in his delivery, eyes no longer wavering.
