She traveled with the roger pirates, shanks and Buggy we're her declared siblings the Roger pirates were her family the ocean was her mother.....but then it happened Roger was executed and she swore she would slaughter the celestial dragons after all the marines are just dogs on leashes.
So she has a ship built and sets sail alone, and ends up somehow becoming the older sister to the ASL idiots and has a Garps to deal with also now.
A little after Luffy sets sail she ends up somehow getting the one thing she swore she would never have again crew mates and they seem to duplicate so yay
Oh did I forget to mention that everyone on her crew has a burning hatred for the Celestial dragons and the Marines? Chaos ensues
